The project wishes to recruit and train a small group of volunteers to engage with the women in these families and to offer them suitable advice, guidance, support and signposting in order to overcome issues such as language, isolation, disability, lack of qualifications, poverty, FGM, poor mental health; where necessary to engage with their younger children and offer
after school classes and support; to look to offer holiday activities with their teenage children in order to help keep them away from potential danger points. we are hopeful that we can offer support to teenage and pre-teenage members of the families so that they too will grow and develop into active and strong members of their respective communities
